Dognality: Finn is a playful, affectionate puppy who brings a sweet, loving energy into everything he does. He enjoys play and activity, but he’s just as happy curling up with his people, giving kisses, and soaking up attention.
He engages easily with both people and his environment, and he has his own little quirks — including a surprising love for watching elephants on TV. He’s curious, observant, and enjoys being part of what’s going on around him.
Finn is the most people-oriented of the group and naturally leans toward being a bit codependent. He prefers to be close and connected, but he’s currently learning that he can relax and function on his own as well. With guidance, he’s already making progress in building that independence.
One of Finn’s favorite activities is eating — and he takes it very seriously. He’ll happily lay across the entire food mat and treat mealtime as a full, relaxing experience.
Play for Finn is balanced. He has enough energy to enjoy adventures and outings, but he’s not constantly “on” and doesn’t require nonstop activity to be content.
In training, Finn is engaged and willing, especially when he feels connected to his person. He does best with someone who is committed to helping him build confidence and independence while still appreciating his affectionate nature.
Finn’s combination of playfulness, sweetness, and strong attachment makes him a true love bug — an ideal companion for someone who wants a close bond and is willing to help him grow into a more confident, independent dog.
Additional Information: Finn comes to us through one of our trusted friends who typically handles placements within their own program. Due to a particularly busy work schedule, they reached out for assistance in finding Finn the right home, and we were happy to help with that process.
Because of this arrangement, Finn is placed under a separate contract from our standard program dogs. (Contract link coming soon.)
