Dognality: Otto is a playful, affectionate puppy who brings a sweet, loving energy into everything he does. He enjoys play and activity, but he’s just as happy curling up with his people, giving kisses, and soaking up attention.
He engages easily with both people and his environment, and he has his own little quirks — including a surprising love for watching elephants on TV. He’s curious, observant, and enjoys being part of what’s going on around him.
Otto is the most people-oriented of the group and naturally leans toward being a bit codependent. He prefers to be close and connected, but he’s currently learning that he can relax and function on his own as well. With guidance, he’s already making progress in building that independence.
One of Otto’s favorite activities is eating — and he takes it very seriously. He’ll happily lay across the entire food mat and treat mealtime as a full, relaxing experience.
Play for Otto is balanced. He has enough energy to enjoy adventures and outings, but he’s not constantly “on” and doesn’t require nonstop activity to be content.
In training, Otto is engaged and willing, especially when he feels connected to his person. He does best with someone who is committed to helping him build confidence and independence while still appreciating his affectionate nature.
